These earrings are crafted in gold-plated S925 sterling silver and decorated with natural red agate in the shape of a 平安扣 (Píng’ān Kòu), an ancient Chinese symbol associated with peace, protection, and harmony.
Above the stone sits a delicate koi carp, a symbol of perseverance, prosperity, and good fortune. The top of the design is inspired by the traditional Chinese peace lock (平安锁), historically used as a protective amulet.
The combination of the intense red of the agate and the golden tones creates an elegant, striking piece full of meaning.
