“Qingming Shanghe Tu” Reversible Scarf · 180 × 70 cm

A long scarf inspired by one of the most famous works in the history of Chinese art: 清明上河图 (Qīngmíng Shànghé Tú), commonly known as Along the River During the Qingming Festival.

The original painting, attributed to the Song Dynasty artist Zhang Zeduan, is celebrated for its extraordinary detail in depicting the daily life of a Chinese city nearly a thousand years ago. Rather than showing only palaces or imperial scenes, the work brings together streets, shops, travelers, animals, carriages, bridges, dwellings, and numerous figures in full activity.

For this reason, more than just a landscape, Qingming Shanghe Tu functions as a window into urban life in ancient China. Each small scene tells a story: people trading, travelers on the move, animals transporting goods, open workshops, and traditional buildings filled with movement.

This scarf reinterprets that visual universe in a 180 × 70 cm format, allowing a wealth of details to be appreciated across the entire piece. Its reversible, dual-sided, and dual-color design offers two different chromatic interpretations of the same motif, making the scarf change its appearance depending on how it is worn.

The result is a piece that combines fashion and culture: an accessory easy to wear in everyday life, but also a way to carry with you a small reference to one of the most iconic images of Chinese artistic heritage.
